Trumbull, CT – It was announced today that the medical space at 115 Technology Drive, Unit A-203, has been leased to Dr. Book’s practice. The unit is 2,042 square feet and will be the home of the The Center for Skin Surgery. The center will be a referral practice solely dedicated to cutaneous surgery and oncology. After spending the last 15 years at Yale University’s Department of Dermatologic Surgery including the last 3 years as its Medical Director, Dr. Samuel Book has decided to go into private practice. The medical procedures deal with the care of patients requiring Mohs micrographic surgery for non-melanoma skin cancers, excisions of thin melanomas and atypical nevi, nail biopsies and blue light photodynamic therapy. The practice will provide the same high quality standards with a focus on excellence in all aspects of patient care but without the hassle of going into New Haven.
