It was announced today that The Connecticut Metropolitan Council of Governments (MetroCOG), has renewed its lease, and expanded their space at 1000 Lafayette Blvd in Bridgeport. The company has expanded their existing space to a total of 4,248 square feet of offices. MetroCOG) is a multi-discipline, regional planning organization with six member communities — Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.
Terms of the lease were not disclosed other than the length of the lease which is 10 years. Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR and Managing Partner with Vidal/Wettenstein of Westport represented MetroCOG, and Lyndsay Cahill of Avison Young, Norwalk represented the property owner, Shelbourne Lafayette, LLC, a division of Shelbourne Global Acquisitions of Brooklyn, NY.
